Heaven's Special Child

A meeting was held quite far from earth, It's time again for another birth. Said the angels to the lord above, this special child will need much love. Her progress may seem very slow accomplishments she may not show, and she'll require extra care from the folks she meets way down there. So lets be careful where she's sent, we want her life to be content. Please, Lord, find parents who will do a special job for you. They will not realize right away, the leading roll they're asked to play. But with this child sent from above, comes stronger faith and richer love. And soon they'll know the privilege given in caring for this gift from heaven. The precious charge so meek and mild is heavens very special child.

(This is coppied from a friends blog but I thought it was so sweet)

Kim - It was so very nice to meet you and Abbie today! We too have that poem posted from earlier days. I believe you and Abbie were a blessing and a valuable resource given to me today. I do not take these things for granted or take them lightly as God gives us what we need day by day, step by step as we go through the next stages of our journey. I will remember you and Abbie and your family as I pray for Caroline's needs. I am sure we have similar things even though our girls may have differences. Your sweet sister posted on Caroline's blog. Please give her my info as I do not have a way to contact her. You guys can also e-mail me in the days ahead! Have a wonderful thankful Thanksgiving!

I can't wait to see you guys again someday. And I'm going to give that Abbie (and all of your other kids) big hugs. Abbie is coming along wonderfully and it is obvious that your kids love her as much as mine do Alayna. Isn't it strange how things happen. I think we could probably trade shoes for a day and not even realize we did...our families are so much alike. Hugs from Illinois to Florida. I'd much rather be there than up here....bbbrrr!

Oh Thank you for sharing! It does make me feel special and proud to be Sammies mama! And knowing some of the parents of other 1p36 kiddos...I can certainly tell why they were chosen!
